Were they introduced here in this country, possibly as a game bird of sorts? I just checked Google and went to a couple of listed sites, and it looks like these birds are from (I think) India. Definitely hybrids, or as you put it "mutt."Mary Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08077077785157768787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4728987043673829071.post-22508324446606359212008-06-11T16:02:00.000-07:002008-06-11T16:02:00.000-07:00The snowy egret is so beautiful! The snowy egret is so beautiful!Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17534904024320623895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4728987043673829071.post-11122695860874281022008-06-10T21:51:00.000-07:002008-06-10T21:51:00.000-07:00Hi Mary,Good photos! The goose is definitely a mutt goose, with a lot of Greylag Goose in its ancestry - they're all over the Duck Pond area @ the Baylands.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
