Indulge me! Our newest family members are avid bird watchers! Only 5 months old and they know (probably by instinct) that these little feathered critters are something they desire. Here are a few photos I took earlier tonight of Tango and Cash "watching" the birds at the window feeder.

LOL! These two sweeties are going to add much laughter and many smiles to your day- and ours!
How cute! I love to watch a cat as it watches birds, flies, insects. They become so intent on it.
Lynne - they not only add laughter and smiles but groans, too! It makes me realize how non-kitten proof our home is. Last night when it was time to go to bed Tango (female) was literally bouncing on the walls. I couldn't believe it! And both have a tendency to knock off stacks of magazines or papers I have. But they are still cute and funny.
Jan, I love watching them watching the birds - they definitely are intent!
They seem to be having a good time. I'm always amazed at how quickly birds learn that windows keep them safe.
Hi Wren - yes, they are making themselves at home very quickly and having a good time together. It's funny about the birds -- the older ones fly away, but the fledglings are the ones who seem to be clueless. ;o) Just like kittens, they can be quite clueless, too.
I can tell that your 2 little precious ones are going to have hours of enjoyment at your windows!
Shelley, it's amazing how long they will sit there (at least as long as the birds are active). Cash, the boy, has a longer attention span, so he's usually there in the window longer than Tango.
We would be lost without our cats. They provide us with hours of entertainment. Yours are just the cutest!
Beautiful kittens, Mary. You are right about the resemblance to my litter - 10 weeks old tomorrow!
Fun pics! You can just sense the intensity as the kitties watch those birds. Do they make little noises while they're watching too?
Linda, thank you. It's so true that they can entertain us for hours.
Thanks, Martha. Gosh, 10 weeks already! As tiny as these two are it's hard to believe they are 5 months old.
Ruthie, it's so fun to watch these guys. I sure don't get much done, not even reading or commenting on blogs. They have just begun to make that cackling sound, but it's not as mature as the other cats when they do it.
G'Day Mary,
I am visiting via Martha's blog. I have seen your name there in the comments page quite a bit. I was hoping you could help me with a problem I am having. I haven't been able to contact Martha through her blog for a while now because the comment form isn't working. It has not had a word verification password coming up and will not accept any comments from me.I don't know if that is a problem from my computer or hers. Anyway, can you please just let her know I have not forgotten her. She has been visiting my blog and I can't contact her.
I love your kittys. Tango and Cash. Sleek and beautiful. And birds and flowers too. Lots of things I love.Very nice blog, I wil be back.
Good for you, keeping kitties and birds on opposite sides of the window. Oh, true, the kitties want out so badly, but they and the birds are safer as they are.
What fun. I love the sound kitties make at the window - sort of like a chit chit chit, tails wagging. Maybe a little low growl.
Love it!
They're also great flycatchers!
Mary
Mary, my cats love to watch birds as much as I do. Great entertainment for all. Welcome to the family Tango and Cash! BTW, I'm very flattered to know you follow my blog. Thank you for the honor.
Very cute-I've always been a cat guy-not a dog guy.-I know that's not very macho but that's the way it is.-It's interesting to watch ther reaction to birds and other animals too.
Donna, Mary, Kathie, and Larry - I hope you don't think I've fallen off the face of the earth. I've been so preoccupied lately. I can't seem to keep up with my posts or comments, much less commenting on everyone else's posts. I'm so glad all of you have enjoyed the pix of our latest addition to our pet menagerie. Tango and Cash are still adorable and they definitely keep us all busy (except when they are sleeping). Since they are still small and young (6 mos old now) they are eating at various times of the day and evening, whereas our older cats get fed twice a day. I am actually looking forward to the time they will eat at the same time as the older ones. Hopefully I will be able to put up a new post soon. And again thanks for the comments.
