I think this quiz has been going around for a while, but it's fun to repeat it now and then. I think I tried it once before, and I think I had the same result as the last time I tried it. Have you tried it yet?
Your Power Bird is a Cardinal |
You believe that each day is precious, and you spend your times as best as you can. You see the wonder in small things, and you are often content with what you have. You life an interesting, colorful life - and you bring color to those around you. Confident and expressive, you believe you know how to live a good life. You're living it! |

I'm a vulture: Change junkie, energetic, powerful, sucessful, and opportunistic.
Hmm, I think I'd rather have lunch with a cardinal than a vulture.
If I took the Power Bird quiz, I would probably cheat--just so I could get the cardinal. I love them--such gorgeous birds.
OK--I'll try. And I promise not to cheat.
I'm an Eagle :)
I must be Mel's twin... I'm an Eagle!
Hi Wren - having lunch with a vulture sounds intriguing, especially since one of their qualities is "successful." On the other hand, "opportunistic" would make me be cautious. ;o) But then again, I can't imagine you taking advantage of your friends!
Donna - did you take the quiz and cheat? ;o) Cardinals are one bird we don't get here in California, and yet it's still a favored bird for me. I enjoy when others post their photos of the cardinal.
Mel and Red - Eagles! Wow! I'm impressed, are you?
I'm a vulture too:
You are always changing your life and the lives of those around you.
You aren't afraid to move on from what holds you back.
Energetic and powerful, you have a nearly unlimited capacity for success.
You know how to "go with the flow" and take advantage of what is given to you.
Hmmm....I was hoping I'd be a pretty cardinal or a majestic eagle. LOL!
Hi Shelley - well, if I was keeping count...Eagles-2, Vultures-2, Cardinal-1. Mmmm, very interesting.
LOL... looks like I could have been a vulture too. I wonder what Lynne might be!
Red - you probably already checked out her post - she's a vulture.
I didn't take the test but I embody the help of differing birds under different circumstances. Owls are great for when one explores at night and eagles work well for me to take me over long distances. There's a bird for all occasions.
Well said, Bernie!
You have such a pretty bird! How fun. Therein lies your strength!
Hi Mary,
I was a cardinal too!
Sparverius - thank you!
Ruthie - now I know we must be kindred spirits! ;o)
